Su-Kyung Chung (Harpsichord)

Born: Pusan, South Korea

The Korean harpsichordist, Su-Kyung Chung, studied piano at Dongduk Womens University in South Korea, obtaining her Bachelor of Music degree. She continued her studies at the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen and the Musikhochschule Freiburg, and obtained her Master of Music degree (KA Diploma). Attracted by the early music and instruments, she mastered Harpsichord and Fortepiano with KA Diplom, and also graduated with Cembalo Konzertexamen from The Köln University of Music.

Since 2006 Su-Kyung Chung is a member of the Ensemble Association Nota Bene in France. The winner of the international Fritz Neumeyer Prize for Early Music 2004 for Hammerflügel in Germany and winner of the International Harpsichord Competition in Bruges, she played in September 2008 at the old Lohrer Rathaus works of "Bach and Rameau Highlights of the Baroque",
