The American soprano, Corey Carleton, grew up singing 1960's and 1970's folk music with her Dad, and later studied music at University of California at Berkeley as an undergraduate, and earned a Master's degree in Voice at Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington, specializing in Early Music.
In addition to Les Violettes, Corey Carleton also performs with Tesserae, Faire Violls, Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra, The Los Angeles Chamber Singers, and The Concord Ensemble, among others.
Corey Carleton serves on the Board of Directors of the Grammy Award winning Los Angeles Chamber Singers. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter, and is delighted to be singing once again with Les Violettes. |
