Cappella Accademica (Chamber Ensemble)

Founded: September 2, 1974 - Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan

Cappella Accademica (Japanese: カペラ・アカデミカ) means "conservatory belonging to the church" in Italian, and with the choir of the classical music study group, they perform J.S. Bach's cantatas, oratorios, passions, etc. are faithful to the original work as much as possible. A chamber chorus formed by amateurs and experts living in Hamamatsu and Toyohashi for the purpose of performing. Founded on September 2, 1974 under Professor Hamada, they mainly learned how to play sacred works, and after that they held regular concerts unique to the ensemble twice a year and held other concerts two or three times to create an intimate world of indoor ensembles.
