Cantus Luscinia (Early Music Instrumental Ensemble)

Founded: 2013 - France

Cantus Luscinia, directed by the counter-tenor Leandro Marziotte, is an ensemble born from the meeting of different musicians specialized and passionate about early music. The ensemble explores several repertoires, but is more specifically dedicated to Italian, Spanish and Latin American vocal Baroque music. He recorded a first live CD dedicated to the sacred music of Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, J.S. Bach, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Nebra, and Zipoli.
