The American soprano and music teacher, Kathryn Claire Brode, is a Texas native, rasied in north Dallas until she moved to Memphis, Tennessee in 2014. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Environmental Studies magna cum laude; phi beta kappa from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee (2014-May 2018); and her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Texas State University in San Marcos (August 2020-May 2022).
Kathryn Brode's teaching experience: Student Music Theory Tutor at Rhodes College (August 2016-May 2017); Student Teacher- viola with PRIZM Ensemble at De La Salle Elementary School (March-December 2017); Soprano section leader with Rhodes Singers (2016-2018); Choir Section Leader- Soprano at St. John's United Methodist Church in St. John's United Methodist Church in Memphis (since January 201); Soprano section leader with Mastersingers Chorale (2019-2020); her own Voice Studio (2021), where she teaches students from Texas State University and Seguin High School. She currently lives in Alexandria, Virginia. |
