The Portuguese bass-baritone singer and singing and voice teacher, Francisco Brazão, graduated in Music Education, completed a master's degree in Singing (Interpretation) at ESART - Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas in Castelo Branco, Portugal in the class of Professor Ana Ester Neves. He studied singing with Birgit Wegemann, João Lourenço and Poulo Ferreira. He participated in several major courses and workshops with several voice and singing teachers such as Armando Possante, Claire Vangelisti, Enza Ferrari, Frank Kone, Guillemette Laurens, Isabel Alcobio and João Parente.
Francisco Brazão has performed in recitals in Portugal and the UK, performing a varied repertoire. He also performed in Opera and Concert under the direction of Maestros such as Gonçalo Lourenço, João Paulo Santos and Martin André. He taught Choral Singing, Vocal Technique and Voice at the Curso Superior de Professores de Formação Musical (INUAF, Louié), at the Curso Técnico de Actores (ESPR, Faro), at the Conservotario de Musica in Olhão and at the Sociedade Filarmónica Artistas de Minerva in Loulé. He has been holding workshops for choirs, singers, actors, dancers, teachers and speakers since 2005. |
