The French baritone, Laurent Bourdeaux, graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris in 1994. He has not compromised by marketing or strategy consulting, and I took the decision to become opera singer (he holds1st Prize in Classical singing of the Conservatoires de la ville de Paris), while training to the direction of choir and orchestra. He therefore spearheaded a choirmaster activity and singer for many years, before devoting himself exclusively to singing.
Laurent Bourdeaux has appeared both with with renowned ensembles (Les Musiciens du Louvre Grenoble (Director: Marc Minkowski, Le Concert Spirituel (Director: Herve Niquet), Ensemble Pygmalion (Director: Raphaël Pichon), Les Jeunes Solistes (Director: Rachid Safir,), Ensemble vocal Sequenza 9.3 (Director: Catherine Simonpietri)…) and as a soloist, in areas as diverse as sacred music, opera , operetta or recital. He has had the chance to create many operas and to work with great conductors, great singers and instrumentalists, stage directors (Laurent Pelly, Sir Richard Eyre, David Mc Vicar...) as well as choreographers (Blanca Li, Laura Scozzi, Xavier Le Roy...). Hae has appeared in prestigious venues (Opéra Garnier, Konzerthaus in Berlin, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Bruges, Festival d'Aix en Provence, Comédie Française, Abbaye de Royaumont, Théâtre du Soleil...) or less prestigious but equally alive (many theaters and French national theaters and stages, small jazz clubs, festivals ... and église Notre-Dame de St-Mandé).
In order to develop his skills, Laurent Bourdeaux resumed studies two years ago and obtained Master 2 in Management of Cultural Organisations from the Université Paris Dauphine. |
