The American tenor, Kirk Bobkowski, graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelor of Music in Performance and Education (2010-2014). He was a member of Dr. Carroll Lehman’s studio where he was twice named “Singer of the Year” along with NATS Regional first place finalist. He is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at The University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Kirk Bobkowski has soloed with many local ensembles including The Worcester Chorus, Worcester State Chorale, Keene Chorale, Gardner Singers, and Monadnock Chorus. Internationally he has performed solos from W.A. Mozart's Requiem in Quebec city and J.S. Bach’s St. Matthew Passion (BWV 244) in Mexico city. His recent opera roles include Tamino in W.A. Mozart's The Magic Flute, Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore, Ferrando in W.A. Mozart's Così fan tutte, and Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance.
In addition, Kirk Bobkowski cantors for various parishes in the Worcester diocese, and is on roster with CONCORA Connecticut Choral Artists, Novi Cantori, Odyssey Opera of Boston Chorus, and Diamonds from the Dust. He currently lives in Worcester, Massachusetts. |
