The English harpsichordist, Virginia Black, has given concerts at Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room and Queen Elizabeth Hall in London. She has appeared at major festivals in the UK, and has made tours to Europe, the USA, Australia and New Zealand. She gave concerts with her husband, the violinist Howard Davis. Her other repertoire includes: Sonatas by Soler and Scarlatti; Bach' Chromatic Fantasia & Fugue (BWV 903), Toccata in D major and Partitas; Pieces by Rameau, Dandrieu, Duphly and Forqueray; Falla's' Harpsichord Concerto.
Virginia Black recorded for the BBC and Westdeutsche Rundfunk. She took part in a television performance of Bach's 5th Brandenburg Concerto with the English Chamber Orchestra.
