The German tenor, Alexander Bischoff, was a member of the Dresdner Kreuzchor from 2004 to 2012. There he gained early musical experience and had his first solo performances in the Männerchor. He is a national prize winner in the “Jugend musiziert” music competition. After graduating from high school, he completed a voluntary social year in culture in the orchestra management of the Dresdner Philharmonie and received preparatory singing lessons at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden, where he studied singing with Professor Piotr Bednarski from 2013. In 2019, he successfully completed his studies with a Master of Arts degree. He received formative influences from Kammersänger Professor Olaf Bär and Britta Schwarz, among others. He also gained extensive experience in lessons with Professor Ludger Rémy. He was able to supplement his study experience with a master-class with the pianist Eric Schneider. In 2017 he received the Rudolf-Mauersberger-Stipendium from the Förderstiftung Dresdner Kreuzchor.
In addition to his solo work at home and abroad, Alexander Bischoff is an accomplished ensemble singer and a permanent member of the Dresdner Kammerchor (Director: Hans-Christoph Rademann) and the vocal ensemble AuditivVokal and Mitteldeutschen Kammerkantate, and regularly performs as a soloist and as an ensemble member in Central Germany. He was also a member the vocal quartet Ensemble de Morales (since October 2014) |
