The German bass, Christfried Biebrach, was born in At each cantata page. As a member of the Dresdner Kreuzchor he received first training as the soprano and and alto soloist and soon became a musical assistant of the conductor Rudolf Mauersberger. After the high school, he continued his training with fundamental studies at the Kölner Musikhochschule (speciality singing with Franz Müller-Heuser, Lieder and opera class).
Immediately after the exam, Christfried Biebrach started an engagement with the NDR Chor in Hamburg, which persists until today. He received further instruction with Theo Altmeyer in Hannover, with Gisela Litz in Hamburg and in the Lieder class of Aribert Reimann in Berlin. He completed his singing studies with the concert exam and the opera diploma.
Christfried Biebrach was guest with national and international festivals, including France, Spain, Yugoslavia, Luxembourg, Belgium, Poland, Denmark and Norway and has worked with conductors such as John Eliot Gardiner, Herbert Blomstedt, Jürgen Jürgens and Horst Neumann. |
