The German conductor and organist, Christian Bettels, finished in 1997 the C-exam at the Bischoeflichen Kirchenmusikinstitut in Fulda. In 1996 he began to study musicology and history at the Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster, which he finished in 2002 with the Magister Artium. Since then he works on a thesis for the music of the Renaissance period.
Since May 2003 Christian Bettels is assistant of Professor Tomasz Adam Nowak at St. Lamberti. He is responsible for the organisation of the working-day services and leads the three vocal groups of the Gemeinde. |
