The Romanian tenor, Tony Bardon, born in Baia Mare (Nagybánya), a small Transylvanian town known from its artistic colony becoming a significant movement influencing the development of 20th-century Hungarian art. He was trained at the
National Academy of Music "Gheorghe Dima" Cluj-Napoca (2004-2010). He also attended the Accademia Rossiniana Pesaro (2010)
Tony Bardon made his professional opera debut in 2008 at the local Hungarian Opera as Conte Almaviva in Rossini’s „Il barbiere di Siviglia”. As an active member of the both lyric Theaters from Cluj-Napoca (Hungarian Opera, Romanian National Opera since April 2010), singing roles like Don Ramino in Rossini’s La Cenerentola, Don Ottavio in
W.A. Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Tamino in
W.A. Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Nemorino in Donizetti's L’elisir d’amore.
