Ensemble Auliden (Vocal & Instrumental Ensemble) |
Founded: 2012 - Lausanne, Switzerland |
The Ensemble Auliden was created in 2012, moved by the desire to explore the work of J.S. Bach through the prism of his Cantata arias for soprano, oboe or cello obligato and continuo, a repertoire rich in famous but also unknown masterpieces. Beyond the interpretation as "chamber music" of these arias out of their original setting in the Cantata, the Ensemble Auliden's repertoire, both sacred and profane, includes the works of contemporary composers of the Thomaskantor, and of his many successors. |
