The Macedonian mezzo-soprano, Helene Angelovska, studied in two conservatoires of music and at Ecole Normale in Paris from 1989 to 1995.
During her studies Helene Angelovska worked one year in a school as a documentalist in Dieppe-Frace. She also passed lots of auditions for a post of a chorist in different Opera houses in France. When she finished her studies in France she came back in Skopje-Macedonia and become a free-artist, and that lasted till the year 2007. From 2000 to 2005 she had a post in Macedonian Opera and Ballet in Skopje, as a part-time soloist. From 2007 she got a permanent job as a chorist in the same institution.
Helene Angelovska is a performance concert singer in different genders of music, ancient, clasical, folk, jazz, pop, rock.. She is an expert in Baroque vocal music, in Mozart singing, and an expert in French melodies and German Lieder from the 19th-20th centuries. She also sings folk-music which is mixed with contemporary music. |
