Orchestre Académie Symphonique de Paris (Orchestra)

Founded: Paris, France

Orchestre Académie Symphonique de Paris (= ASP), together with variable geometry, can perform in chamber formation, in Mozart formation or in symphonic formation.

Without a permanent conductor, ASP brings together the best instrumentalists. Anxious to put their art and their technique at the service of the oratorio, they all come from the most prestigious phalanges of Parisian musical life: Opéra de Paris, Orchestre National de France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, Colonne, Pasdeloup, Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine.

From ASP's various collaborations with Antoine Barth have been particularly retained the strength and accuracy of interpretation of J.S. Bach's Mass in B minor BWV 232, W.A. Mozart's Requiem, George Frideric Handel's Messiah, Johannes Brahms' German Requiem, A. Dvorak's Stabat Mater and Antonio Vivaldi's Gloria. ASP cooperates with Chœur Sanofi (Director: François Bataille) and Chœur Varenne (Director: Caroline de Beaudrap).
