I might be the last person on earth to discover this wonderful ensemble. In case I am not allow me to recommend to you these outstanding practicioners of the German baroque. Since they are not Bach specialists they might not be known to some. Currently I am enthralled with their recording of Hasse: Miserere c-moll and Zelenka: Missa Dei Filii C-Dur. This disc is an eye-opener and not to be missed.

[To Bob Henderson] You are absolutely right!
Here is another fine disc: Zelenka: Te Deum a 2 chori & Heinichen: Missa No. 9 in D
That is on Carus 83.148.

[To Bob Henderson] Isn't this the same choir and orchestra that has offered us the Bach Magnificat under the direction of Hans-Christoph Rademann ?
Oh what a gorgeous recording ! ( Carus 83.152 )
Bob Henderson wrote (January 31, 2004):
[To SW Anandgyan] If its Rademann it must be although their current label is Raum Klang I will have to look it up as that label's catalogue does not list a Magnifcat. The Hasse-Zelenka disc is Raum Klang 9702.
