Original ink drawings, oil, and watercolor paintings in a unique style that combines Geometric, Abstract, and Surreal aesthetics and techniques.
Searches of the universal language capable equally to express the most different categories of life, play the important role in Vlad Pronkin's creativity. In the works it masterly combines complex intellectualism and the refined psychologism. Its canvasses painted with use of a postmodernist paradigm, cause the whole spectrum of associations with Bosch's works and Rembrandt. Using complex picturesque techniques the author creates own flexible language, the world of its pictures, it is the world of imagination, fantasy of the imagination and jokes of perception.
"Aim to understand and, by my own vision, deny the view of the world, which is happening in only one point of space and time and introduces the logical dimension into the painter’s surrounding. This condition that is offered to our reason and our perceptual experience is only one of numerous interpretations of the world. Even an objective picture of reality in a given moment reveals only one of its possible viewings. I attempt instead to encourage new creations, outside of the fenced world of perceptual experience; to convert dreams of reality to the reality of life. Everything, that I now do, is the original bridge from very old to new future."
His unique manner of painting makes his masterpieces suitable for exhibit or enhancing classical or modern interiors.
Surrealism enhanced by deep philosophical meaning makes V. Pronkin’s painting a conversational piece even in most discriminating collections. |
