Mini bust of Johann Sebastian Bach.
Beautifully crafted in Italy by the sculptors of ISAC-STATUE which was established in 1948.
This particular bust measures 6 1/4" H x 3 1/2" w and is made from alabastar and presented on a marble base.
If you are a classical music lover you probably already know that Bach was a German composer who was born in 1685 and died in 1750.
By the age of 17 he had followed in the footsteps of his brother and became an organ virtuoso which is not surprising due to the fact that he came from a very musically inclined family. Although his brother did not further his career J.S.Bach decided he wanted to learn more. By the year 1707 he had not only made a reputation as an organist but finally had also become recognized for his own compostions.
