About the Artist (in his own words):
Hello and welcome to my website. For some of you, we have met at one of the many contemporary art festivals across the U.S. For my new friends, let me tell you a little about myself and the metal sculpture you are about to see. My wife, Beverlee and I are full time career artists. We have three children. Morgan, age twenty-six, and graduated from UCF in Orlando and is currently going to graduate school for her masters as an OT, Haylee, now 15, is trying to start a modeling career, and Keaton, age thirteen, is on the computer all the time being creative. During our travels from show to show, these kids have come to know most interstate roads as well as we have and know as many or more artists then we do.
20 years ago we began designing women’s jewelry and participating in craft shows working our way up to higher end art shows. Years of hard work, hundreds of designs and many awards, we decided to pursue a totally new direction in metal works. After many years of different styles of sculptures, my designs now are bringing back new life to what was “very cool” during the 50’s and 60’s. The “boomerang” inspired a world of shapes to co-exist in a vary “artsy” revolution. Home styles, car designs, clothing, furniture and even color schemes evolved with the new mid-century style. The future in this mid-century art has wonderful and enthusiastic possibilities! I have great appreciation and a commitment to give my clients a fresh modern look of the past styles of those artists and their awesome inspiring designs.
We are now expanding our creative talents to corporate logo reproduction and custom ART/SIGN sculptures. We have been very busy with this new venture and expect to be doing less shows and more commercial art in the future. |
