Josef Friedrich Doppelbauer was an Austrian composer, organist and choir master. He was teacher (later professor) at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz. He Received the Austrian State Prize for Music in 1967; honorary doctorate from the Pontificio instituto di musica sacra in Rome in 1986. |
