The Russian tenor, Alexander Yudenkov, received his musical training at the Sweschnikov Chorschule in Moscow with V. Popov. He also studied the choir directing at Tschaikowsky-Konservatorium in Moscow. After moving to Germany he studied singing at the Musikhochschule Karlsruhe with Aldo Baldin, Jean Cox and D Litaker. He was holder of scholarship of the music donation of the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg. In July 2003 he participated in a master-class by Peter Schreier about the Bach Passions in Schwäbisch-Gmünd.
Since 1996 Alexander Yudenkov has been a member of the SWR vocal ensemble Stuttgart. Yudenkov is in demand as Lider and oratorio singer in Germany, in Europe and abroad. Beside Baroque and Classical oratorios and church musical works, His emphasis lies particularly in music music. Conductors such as Helmuth Rilling, Manfred Schreier and W. Schäfer have already become attentive to the young concert singer. He has sung in Parma the Messiah of George Frideric Handel under the baton of Peter Schreier. |
