The German soprano, Kerstin-Maria Wüller, passed the state exams in Music and German studies at the University of Osnabrück She had her artistic matura specialising in singing at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, and had her Concert exam also at this institute. Her prizes and awards include: Scholarship of the German Music Competition; inclusion in the Federal selection of Young Artists Concerts; 1st Prize at the International Singing Competition TIM in Rome; Award of the Deutsche Schubert-Gesellschaft; and Scholarship from the Richard-Wagner-Verband.
Kerstin-Maria Wüller has has opera engagements at the Studiobühne Bremen, at the Berliner Kammeroper and at the Theatre La Vilette Paris. She participated in CD recordings (such as with
Cord Garben for Deutsche Grammophon and the series "Detmolder Preisträger vorgestellt"). She also took part in radio recordings and productions with the NDR, HR, WDR and RAI.
Since 1995 Kerstin-Maria Wüller is a regular guest lecturer at the Berliner Sängerbund; since 1998 a regular guest lecturer in voice training at the Bundesakademie für Musikalische Jugendbildung in Trossingen; and since 2001 a lecturer for singing at the University of Paderborn. She works in individual lessons in the art major, choral voice training, school-related vocal practice, and voice training for children and adolescents. |
