The American bartone, Jackson Williams, obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance/Opera from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey (2006-2010); and his Master of Music degree in the Voice from Eastman School of Music Rochester, New York (2011-2013). In June-July 2013, he was Young Artist at SongFest in Los Angeles, California.
performs frequently in the Philadelphia area in stylistically diverse repertoire. He is a member of the vocal ensemble The Thirteen ans singer in the Chorus of Opera Philadelphia (since September 2010). In addition, he was Family Room Specialist at Apple Inc. in Marlton, New Jersey (2010-2011); and PC Deployment Technician at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (2013-2014). Recent performances include Gabriel Fauré's Requiem with the Reading Choral Society and engagements as a featured soloist with Choral Arts Philadelphia. His operatic repertoire includes roles in Street Scene (Harry Easter), Benjamin Britten's The Rape of Lucretia (Junius), The Bartered Bride, and George Frideric Handel's Giulio Cesare (Achilla), He currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. |
