The American tenor, René Vazquez, Studied Music - Vocal Performance at Sam Houston State University (2012-2016). He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Music from Lamar University (2016-2019). Currently he is in his second year of his for his Master of Music degree in Voice Performance at The University of Alabama (since August 2021), studying with David Tayloe. He was recently seen on the University of Alabama Opera Theatre stage as Oronte in George Frideric Handel's Alcina (October 2021). He will also be seen as Camille Raquin in the production of Picker’s Thérèse Raquin in spring 2022. He currently lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. |
