The Swiss contralto, Emma Urriani, began singing in the Coro del Vedeggio "Le cicale" starting from 2007. A year later she began her choral training at the Scuola di Musica del Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, following the path of the choirs preparatory up to joining, in 2011, the Coro Clairière, in which it is still active. From 2010 to 2012 she attended the solfeggio course of the Scuola di Musica del Conservatorio with Alessandro Passuello. In 2011 she began studying the transverse flute at the Scuola di Musica del CSI with the teacher Lara Bergliaffa and from 2014 with the teacher Francesca Gianoni with whom she still studies. She attended a few years of solo singing within the choral formation of the Coro Clairière and then entered, in June 2017, in the singing class of Barbara Zanichelli, in the Pre-College section of the CSI. Still in the Pre-College section, she attended the music theory course with Valentina Londino. From 2015 to 2016 she studied double-bass privately with teacher Sabrina Merz. In 2015 she co-founded and participated in the Ensemble Soli Deo Gloria (former Bach Ensemble) under the direction of Jan-Philip Dolci, in which she is active until today. |
