The Polish soprano, Dorota Ujda-Jankiewicz, is a graduate of two faculties at the Conservatory in Breslau for singing and playing as well as for singing education. She perfected her singing knowledge with world-well-known teachers.
Dorota Ujda-Jankiewicz is distinguished with beautiful lyric soprano and an excellent musical sensitivity. She has given concerts with great success in Europe, the USA and Australia, with which she has co-operated with Polish and foreign orchestras. As founder of the Polish Chamber Ensemble and its artistic director, she gave concerts in Australia and Western Europe. In 1990 she sang the Christian Mass in the Vatican for a private audience with Pope Johannes Paul II. In 2000 she was distinguished with the "Gold Medal of the Polish Art in the World". Her extensive and varied repertoire includes are works of famous composers. |
