The Italian soprano and music therapist, Raffaella Todde, graduated in Music Therapy at the A.N.F.F.A.S. di Genova with the thesis entitled "Pregnancy in Music - Music Therapy and Prophylaxis of Childbirth" and in 2006 she successfully passed the Professional Qualification Exam for access to the A.I.M. Music Therapist Registry. She obtained the Diploma in Lyrical Singing at the Conservatorio di Musica Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina in Cagliari, and attended the course of Baroque singing at the same Conservatorio, deepening the study with the teachers Sonia Prina, Simonetta Soro and Gianluca Belfiori Doro. She also studied at the Università degli Studi di Torino
Raffaella Todde collaborates as a music therapist with the elementary schools of the Province and with the affiliated Center Asl "San Biagio" of Selargius (Ca). She has performed music therapy with pregnant women at the Obstetrics department of the Ozieri Hospital (SS) and music therapy activities aimed at subjects with Alzheimer's disease on behalf of the Cooperativa Salugheno di Sassari and has conducted as an expert an expressive - musical workshop at the Middle School of Uta (Ca) funded by the European Community for school drop-out. She participated as a speaker at the Conference "Protagonists in the construction of a better society for all" organized by the Department of Social Services of Ozieri (SS) and the conference of music therapy organized by the association "Volo Alto" which was held at the Santa Barbara auditorium in Villacidro (CA) on May 28, 2005. Since 2007, she has been conducting activities in small groups for children with pervasive development disorder on behalf of the COOP Obbiettivo Comunicare di Cagliari. Since 2001, she has been Director of Didactics of the Triennial Music Therapy Course organized by the Associazione Discanto di Selargius with the recognition by the Commissione Confiam for the training of music therapists. She currently lives in Turin, Italy. |
