The American soprano, Gabrielle Tinto Tresler, began her vocal studies Syracuse, New York with renowned soprano Helen Boatwright. She obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Northwestern University (Class of 2000); and her Master of Music degree from the University of Miami.
A versatile vocalist, Gabrielle Tinto has performed a wide range of music including Baroque oratorio, French cabaret, comedic operetta, and contemporary art song. Recent solo engagements have included J.S. Bach’s St. John Passion and W.A. Mozart’s Requiem. An active ensemble singer, she has performed across the country with Seraphic Fire, Spire, True Concord, Bach Collegium San Diego (Director: Ruben Valenzuela) and the Santa Fe Desert Chorale. Gabrielle has appeared on several Grammy nominated albums. She married Matthew Tresler on June 1, 2013, and currently lives in Irvine, California. |
