The French mezzo-soprano, Dotothée Thivet, recived a complete artistic training (ballet, musical, violin, piano, choir, orchestra, chamber music). She then continued her vocal art studies at the Conservatoire du 12ème arrondissement de Paris. For 6 years the Atelier Lyrique of the Conservatoire offered her first stage experiences. But it was especially with Janine Fourrier that she perfected her voice. In parallel, she followed the training of Maîtrise Notre-Dame de Paris directred by Nicole Corti and Lionel Sow. Finally, she joined the singing class of Malcolm Walker at the CNSM de Paris where she obtained the Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien (Higher National Diploma Professional Musician).
On stage, Dotothée Thivet has performed the roles of Cherubino in W.A. Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, Mercedes in Georges Bizet's Carmen, Siébel in Charles Gounod's Faust, La Baronne de Gondremarck in J. Offenbach's La Vie Parisienne, Deuxième Dame in Messenger's L'Amour masqué, Oreste in Offenbach's La Belle Hélène, Third Lady and Third Child in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and Madame Balandard in . Offenbach's in Monsieur Choufleuri.
Dotothée Thivet is a member of the company Frivolités Parisiennes and has sung in several productions: L'Ambassadrice by Auber, Le Petit Faust by Hervé et Yes ! by Maurice Yvain. She [articipated this year in Molière's comedies-ballets staged by Alexander Stajic with speaking, sung and danced roles: Angélique in Le Malade imaginaire and Hyacinthe in Les Fourberies de Scapin.

Simonpiétri), Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's Stabat Mater (conductor: François Lazarevitch)), Antonio Vivaldi's Nisi Dominus. George Frideric Handel's Messiah (conductor: Nicolas Krauze), A. Vivaldi's Gloria (conductor: Christophe Junivart) and most recently in Magnificat by A. Vivaldi and J.S. Bach (conductor: G. Harnois).
Dotothée Thivet also enjoys singing in choir since childhood and is part of several vocal ensembles Les Cris de Paris (Director: Geoffroy Jourdain) and Les Siècles (Director: François-Xavier Roth) She is also a member of Apostroph' Ensemle Vocal. |
