Collegium Musicum Stuttgart (Instrumental Ensemble) |
Founded: 1995 - Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany |
The Collegium Musicum Stuttgart is managed since its founding in 1995 by the harpsichordist Andreas Scheufler and the violinist Ulrike Fromm-Pfeiffer. For continuity in the orchestral work since then makes a great professional musician tribe.
The musicians know each other from their joint studies or from close collaboration in chamber music. All associated with the wish to make the music in terms of historically informed performance practice. The enthusiasm and interest of the individual in the common is a further characteristic of the ensemble. The ensemble plays on period instruments or their adequate replicas. They perform music from early Baroque to Romanticism, and for unusual occupations they can put together skilled instrumentalists. |
