The American bass, William Strom, graduated from Augsburg College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and has a Master of Divinity degree from Luther-Northwestern Seminary.
The Senior Pastor of Our Savior's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hastings, William Strom has also enjoyed a distinguished career in vocal performance. He has sung as a soloist with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Oudal Chorale, Dale Warland Singers, Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra, Mankato Symphony, Rochester Symphony, Augsburg Centennial Singers and Exultate. He has sung solos in La Traviata, Amahl and the Night Visitors, the Seven Last Words of Christ by Dubois - Exultate Chamber Choir & Orchestra (Director: Thomas D. Rossin), George Frideric Handel's Messiah, Haydn's Creation, Felix Mendelssohn's Elijah and St. Paul Oratorios and the W.A. Mozart's Requiem. In addition, he has received several Schubert Club competitive performance awards and appears on Exultate recordings. |
