The American bass-baritone, Thomas Stork, has been praised by The Washington Post for the "astounding fluency" of his voice and has performed with numerous Washington-area choruses in solo repertoire ranging from early Baroque to late Romantic and 20th Century works. Originally a chorister, he decided to focus on solo work in 1998 and made his professional solo debut with the Oratorio Society of Washington in 1998. He studies with Jackson Sheats in Winchester, Virginia and James Weaver in Williamsburg. |
