The German soprano, Stephanie [Stefanie] Stiller, got her first singing instruction when she was 17 with Gerda Bielefeld. From 1985 to 1992 she studied singing at Musikhochschule Köln with Professor Edda Moser and Professor Nathalie Usselmann, and Lied performing with Prof. Hartmut Höll. She passed her Maturity examination with "very well".
She has had active concert activity as a soloist with extensive repertoire in whole Germany and abroad (Japan, Israel, South America, Russia, France, Austria, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Benelux etc.). As a soloist she has appeared in numerous renowned festivals, such as: Schleswig-Holstein Festival, Frankfurt-Feste, Alten Oper Frankfurt, Lockenhaus-Festival (directed by Gidon Kremer), Sommerliche Musiktage Hitzacker, Händel-Festspiele Halle/Saale, Festival für Alte Musik, Utrecht, Musica Sacra Israel, Liturgica Festival Jerusalem, etc.
Stephanie Stiller is a regular guest in concert halls of Germany, such as: Kölner Philharmonie, Beethovenhalle Bonn, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Hamburger Musikhalle, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Aalto-Theater Essen, Konzert- und Kongreßzentrum Halle/Saale, Oetkerhalle Bielefeld, etc. She has co-operated with renowned conductors such as Sir Neville Marriner, Alicia Mounk, David Shallon, Jan Latham-König, Heribert Beissel, Gothart Stier, etc. She masters the great oratorio parts from the Baroque into the modern era.
