The German soprano, Daniela Sindram, studied singing at the Superior School of Art of Berlin, with professors Illerhaus and Niss, up to 1994. She also participated frequently in master-classes of interpretation of Lieder by Aribert Reimann and attended the lessons of Anna Reynolds and Judith Beckmann. In 1994 she was established in Hamburg to study opera in the Superior School of Music and Theater, where she had as professors Tom Krause and Judith Beckmann. During her formation she got diverse donations and scholarships - Foundation Ottilie Salbach Redslob and Foundation Erdwin Amsinck.
Regular collaborator of the Theater of Bremen since 1995, Daniela Sindram was contracted by this institution in the season of 1996-1997, having there interpreted, among others, the roles of Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart), Octavian (Rosenkavalier by R. Strauss) and Dorabella (Così fan tutte by Mozart).
In the season of 1998-1999 Daniela Sindram was invited to participate in the interpretation of the Matthäus-Passion (BWV 244) by J.S. Bach (version of Mendelssohn) for the Opera of Berlin. Her repertoire also includes the following opera roles: Anita (West Side Story), Mercédès (Carmen), Hodel (Anatevka), Orfeo (Orfeo et Euridice), Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel), Armande (Molière), Lola (Cavalleria Rusticana), Idamante (Idomeneo), Fiodor (Boris Godunov), Maddalena (Il Viaggio a Reims) Dryade (Ariadne auf Naxos), Orlowsky (Der Fledermaus), Wladimir (Fatinitza), Flora Bervoix (La Traviata) and Vally/Felice (Liebster Vater).
In the spring of 2000, Daniela Sindram interpreted an extraordinary recital of Lieder, in the scope of the series 'Cantabile’ organized by the Radio of Bremen and the Theater of Bremen. She opened the season of 2001-2002 in the National Theater of Mannheim.
Beyond her activity in the area of opera, Daniela Sindram dedicates her interpretation to concert singing. |
