The English mezzo-soprano, Katie Schofield, studied Law at the University of Cambridge before turning to a life of itinerant singing.
Katie Schofield has performed, toured and recorded with groups including the Monteverdi Choir (Director: John Eliot Gardiner), Polyphony (Director: Stephen Layton), Cardinall’s Musick, The Tallis Scholars (Director: Peter Phillips) and Dunedin Consort (Director: John Butt). She also spent three fulfilling years as a Lay Clerk in the choir of Peterborough Cathedral. She currently combines performing with postgraduate studies at Trinity Laban. |
