The German soprano, Judith Schulze, was born in Remscheid, and grew up in Stuttgart. There she received her first singing lessons at the age of 17. She participated in her school years in a project at the Jungen Oper Stuttgart, and in 2003 won the 2nd Prize in singing at the Jugend musiziert competition at the federal level. In July 2008 she completed her studies of church music in Heidelberg, and from April 2007 to March 2009 studied singing with Heidrun Luchterhandt. In June 2008 she was awarded the 1st Prize at the Inge-Bullinger-Pittler-Gesangswettbewerb of the Hochschule für Kirchenmusik in Heidelberg.
Judith Schultz works as a freelance singer, and also works at the Musikschule Heidelberg in children's choral conducting and voice training. |
