The French soprano, Anaïs Sarkissian, began to sing at the age of 6 in an Armenian choir and studied piano and flute. At 14 she was accepted into the Maîtrise de Paris (professional children's choir of Paris) in the Conservatory. First stage experience she gained in the children's choir of the Paris National Opera. Upon completion of the Bachelor of Music Studies in 2006 at the University of La Sorbonne in Paris, she received her master with a focus on French music (Massenet operas). There, she sang in the university choir and as a soloist for the lecture series of French music. She attended many master-classes with Udo Reinemann, Regina Werber und Alain Buet, among others. In 2012 she began to study singing with Professor Bernhard Jäger-Böhm at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart. |
