The Polish soprano, Agnieszka Ryman, graduated from the Józef Elsner State Secondary Music School in Warsaw and the Vocal Faculty at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wrocław, where she studied under the guidance of Christian Elssner and Katarzyna Jagiełło. She is an artist of the Chór NFM .As a high school student, she was a soloist in the Camerata Varsovia choir, with which she gave numerous concerts, amongst others in Belgium and Italy. In September 2004, she took part in the second edition of the Mozart Project singing the soprano part in liturgical versions of Waisenhausmesse in C minor by W.A. Mozart in nine Polish cities. In August and September 2006, she was a member of the international festival ensemble, which performed under the direction of Helmuth Rilling at prestigious festivals, including Luzern, Salzburg and Stuttgart.
As a soloist, Agnieszka Ryman has also appeared on philharmonic stages in Wrocław, Częstochowa, Kalisz, Kielce and Wałbrzych. She has also participated in Wrocław festivals such as Wratislavia Cantans, Forum Musicum, May with Early Music, Cantores Minores Wratislavienses Festival and ‘Tenebrae’ Festival in Ostrów Wielkopolski. She is particularly interested in performance of early music, oratorios and cantatas and vocal lyrics. She currently lives in Wroclaw, Poland. |
