The American counter-tenor, Erick Rarick, is one of San Diego's premier choral voices. In his youth he was the Head Chorister of the St. Paul's Cathedral Boys Choir and made solo appearances with the San Diego Opera, San Diego Symphony and San Diego Master Chorale.
Erick Rarick now specializes in Baroque and Renaissance music and is a founding member of Bach Collegium San Diego (Director: Ruben Valenzuela), Pacific Bach Project (Director: Rick Westerfield), and San Diego Pro Arte Voices (Director: Patrick Walders). His time with the Bach Collegium San Diego has provided opportunities to perform along side Orchestra Nova, Musica Angelica, and The Whole Noyse as well as internationally known conductor Richard Egarr.
A consummate supporter of the choral arts, Erick Rarick can frequently be found donating his time to assist various church, high school and college ensembles with their programs. Over the years he has also had the privilege to sing with the Mainly Mozart Festival, the La Jolla Symphony Chorus and many other local ensembles both large and small. He is currently employed as a Section Leader and Soloist at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Del Mar. |
