The American tenor, Namarea Randolph-Yosea, obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Voice and Opera from the Western Washington University (2015-2019); and his Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from the University of Houston (August 2020-May 2022). He was one of six classical vocalist in the Puget Sound Concert Opera Studio Artist Program of 2019 (September 2019-June 2020), covering the role of the Spanish lover Belmonte from W.A. Mozart's opera The Abduction from the Seraglio, set for performances in November 2019.
Namarea Randolph-Yosea has been Chorus Member at Seattle Opera (June-August 2018); Chorus Member at Pacific Northwest Opera, formerly Skagit Opera (September-October 2018); Faculty Assistant at Western Washington University (April-June 2019). Recently he was Apprentice at Des Moines Metro Opera in Indianola, Iowa (June-July 2022). He appeared as an Apprentice Artist for DMMO's 50th Anniversary Festival. Performed in George Gershwin's Porgy & Bess as chorus, and covering the role of Mingo. Additionally performed in several scenes from Ariadne auf Naxos (Brighella), L'elisir d'amore (Nemorino), and La Ceneretola (Don Ramiro). |
