The English baritone, Krishnan Ram-Prasad, studied at Lancaster Royal Grammar School (2007-2014). He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Linguistics from University of Cambridge (2014-2017); and his Master of Philosophy degree (MPhil) in Classics from University of Cambridge (2017-2018; Research interests: Comparative Philology; Ancient Greek, Latin & Sanskrit languages; Sabellic languages; Syntax; Phonology.
Krishnan Ram-Prasad sang in the Priory Choir before becoming a Choral Scholar in Trinity College, Cambridge, and a member of Trinity College Choir of Cambridge (Director: Stephen Layton), singing bass (September 2014-August 2017). He was also President of Trinity College Music Society (2016-2017). During his studies at Cambridge, he was Student Ambassador at Cambridge Admissions Office (Sepember 2015-June 2017). Since September 2017, he is a Lay Clerk at Gonville and Caius, Cambridge. He also sings with Cadenza (2018, also Director), Trinity College Music Society (TCMS) / The Trinity Singers (2018), Dysfunktional (2018), Trinity College Choir of Cambridge (2018), and The Choir of Gonville & Caius College Canbridge, and is in considerable demand as a soloist.. |
