The American tenor, Andrew Keith Puschel, was raised in Celina, Ohio and graduated from Celina Senior High with the class of 2020. He obtained his Bachelor of Music degrees in Voice Performance and in Vocal Pedagogy from Bowling Green State University (BGSU): College of Musical Arts (Class of 2024). Since August 2024, he studies for his Master of Music degree in Music Performance (Voice) and Literature at The Eastman School of Music.
Andrew Puschel was an international finalist in the 2022 Hal Leonard Art Song Competition, a prize-winner of Bowling Green’s Conrad Art Song Competition in both 2022 and 2023, and frequently performs art song and arias outside of the University. He has studied with tenor Chris Scholl, frequently collaborated with esteemed vocal and opera coach Kevin Bylsma, and received further coaching from contemporary American opera star and former MetOpera baritone Keith Phares, Dr. Louise Toppin of the University of Michigan, and the late, renowned collaborative coach, Dr Russell Miller. |
