The American soprano, Zoe Rose Pallas (Proeber), obtained her Bachelor of Music degree from the Florida State University; and her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from University of Alabama (2020-May 2022), where she studied with Paul Houghtaling.
At Florida State University Zoe Rose Pallas was last cast as Young Alyce in Cipullo's Glory Denied and was Angela in Patience and Clorinda in Cinderella with the FSU Opera Outreach program. She recently seen on the University of Alabama Opera Theatre stage as Pamina in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte (February 2021), as Alcina in George Frideric Handel's Alcina (October 2021), and as Mimi in scenes from La bohème. Under the tutelage of Paul Houghtaling, she was awarded honorable mention in the Huxford Symphony Concerto Competition, is a current MTNA Young Artist finalist in the national division, Mobile Opera aria competition finalist, and won the first-place performance prize at the University of Mississippi’s Living Music Institute. She will portray the title role in Picker’s Thérèse Raquin at UA in the spring of 2022. |
