The American baritone, Jarrett Logan Porter, studied at Eastman School of Music; Houston Grand Opera YAVA. Since 2015, he studies Voice and Opera Performance at San Francisco Conservatory of Music. His teachers have included: Cesar Ulloa (San Francisco Conservatory of Music), Robert McIver (Eastman School of Music), Robert Edwin. His awards include: James Schwabacher Jr. Fellowship 2015-2017.
Major roles Jarrett Porter has performed include: Don Giovanni in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni, Eugene Onegin in scenes from Eugene Onegin, Sid in Benjamin Britten's Albert Herring, Morales in Georges Bizet's Carmen, Ladislav Sipos in She Loves Me, Harry Easter in She Loves Me. He made his debut at Opera Saratoga in the 2016 Festival as Ogre in The Witches of Venice. He has also sung solos in Eastman School of Music: Bach Cantata Series. He currently lives in San Francisco, California. |
