The French mezzo-soprano, Laura Phelut, discovered lyrical singing at the CRR de Lyon, in parallel with a Bachelor of Musicology at the Université Jean Monnet Saint-Etienne.
During the 2013-2014 season, she joined the choirs of the Opéra National de Lorraine, as part of the CFA des Arts de la Scène in Nancy. In May 2016, she obtained the Diploma of Musical Studies at CRR Strasbourg in the class of Silvana Torto, before perfecting her skills with Inna Jeskova. During her training, she attended the master-classes of lyrical artists Delphine Collot, Robert Expert, Philippe Jaroussky, François Leroux and Karl-Peter Kammerlander.
Passionate about pedagogy, she obtained in June 2018 the State Diploma of voice teacher at the Pôle Musique et Danse de Metz. Since September 2018, she has been teaching singing at the École municipale de musique d’Erstein and performing as a soloist and chorister artist in the Grand Est region. Since May 2019 she sings mezzo-soprano in Ensemble Vocal Exosphère. |
