The French bass-baritone, Aurélien Perruchet, sudied, alongside his university studies in economics, singing from 2002 to 2005 at the Conservatoire national de région de Dijon with Odile Pietti and Inge Dreisig. He now continues his studies with Xavier le Maréchal at the Conservatoire municipal du 6ème arrondissement de Paris. He also attended master-classes with Jeannette Aster.
In Dijon, Aurélien Perruchet has performed the roles of Joseph and the family man in the l'Enfance du Christ by Berlioz. He also perfformed as a soloist in sacred works by J.S. Bach, Zoltán Kodály, Schubert, Antonio Caldara. He recently performed the roles of Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart and Baron de Gondremarck in La Vie parisienne by Offenbach with the opera workshop of the Conservatoire du 12ème arrondissement, under the direction of Robert Dumé, and the roles of Don Giovanni in Don Giovanni and Count Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro as part of the opera workshop Prelude. In September and October 2006, he was selected with other young singers from Canada and the Netherlands to sing in China the role of Guglielmo in a production of Così fan tutte directed by Jeannette Aster and appeared as Vitteaux in Côte d'Or in Berlin. He graduated in March 2007 with the Premier Prix at the Concours International de chant de l'UFAM, degré « Supérieur ». |
