The Argentinean tenor, Osvaldo Peroni, graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón. He refined his singing with Ernst Haefliger, Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Régine Crespin, Denise Dupleix and Bonnie Hamilton.
Osvaldo Peroni performed at the Teatro Colón as Snout in Midsummer Night’s Dream, the Innocent in Boris Goduno, Monsieur Taupe in Capriccio, Monostatos in The Magic Flute, Mime in Das Rheingold and Porcus Jeanne d'Arc au Bûcher. At the Teatro Argentino he sang the roles of Párroco and Aaron Pérez in the world premiere of Tlausicalpan by Mastronardi. He also appeared in The Seven Deadly Sins by K. Weill, Carmina Burana by C. Orff and La venganza de Don Mendo by
Mastronardi.
Between 1999 and 2003, Osvaldo Peroni appeared in the USA as Alfred in Johann Strauss' The Bat, with the Utah Festival Opera and at Opera Anchorage in Alaska, where he performed as Pong in Turandot. He appeared in concerts at Bard College in New York, at Queens College (City University of New York) and the New Britain Choral Society. He sang at the Opera of Nice in Midsummer Night’s Dream and Les contes d'Hoffmann; at Buenos Aires Lírica he participated in La Belle Hélène (2008), Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria and The Consul (2009). He taught master-classes at the University of Southampton.
