The French soprano, Catherine Padaut, studied first piano. Then she undertook music education and singing at the Conservatoire National de Région de Marseille; then musicology studies at the Faculté d'Aix-en- Provence. It was at this time that she obtained her CAPES in Music Education and Choral Singing. She was awarded two medals of singing and opera, as well as a first prize of musical education,she is also twice winner the Concours d'Alès.
Catherine Padaut has successfully in 1992, in her audition to enrolled at CNIPAL, and to get training and perform on stage with teachers such as Evelyne Brunner, André Mallabrera and Bernard Fabre-Garrus. Throughout the past two years at CNIPAL, she was soloist and performed many benefits with equal success and deserved success: in 1994, she was proclaimed winner of his class. Today she works with Lise Arseguet-Romeny and is regularly engaged with profesionals sensembles such as A Sei Voci, (Director: Bernard Fabre-Garrus) Musicatreize (Director: Roland Hayrabedian), Ensemble Baroque de Limoges (Director: Christophe Coin), Ensemble de Solistes of Bernard Tetu and Le Concert d'Astrée (Director: Emmanuelle Haïm). |
