The Dutch soprano and singing teacher, Ingrid Nugteren, finished in May
2013 her Master of Music studies with Jón Thorsteinsson at Utrechts conservatorium. She was a member of the opera class and attended master-classes with, among others, Peter Kooy, Alexander Oliver and Tom Krause. In April 2016, she finished her studies at the Lichtenberger Institut, Germany. Her coach is Charlotte Margiono.
Ingrid Nugteren sang the soprano solos in the Stabat Mater by Dvorak and Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, A Wedding Anthem by Benjamin Britten, Psalm 42 by Felix Mendelssohn, Coronation Mass by W.A. Mozart and Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini, cantatas, masses and Passions of J.S. Bach, George Frideric Handel's Messiah and Ein Deutsches Requiem by Johannes Brahms, and the Requiem of Gilles and Schnittke.
As an ensemble singer Ingrid Nugteren has been active in the Nederlands Kamerkoor, and with the pianist Heleen Vegter she sings Lieder by Robert Schumann and Richard Strauss. |
